| The 2010 HSDB Academic Bowl Team did a great job in competing
in the Western Regional Academic Bowl competition at the The Robert G.
Sanderson Community Center of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in
Taylorsville, Utah. Under the coaching of Daphne Werner, the team won
one of their seven matches. |
| Matches: - Game 1: HSDB vs. California School for the Deaf - Fremont (8 to 75) - Game 2: HSDB vs. Oregon School for the Deaf (18 to 40-something...) - Game 3: HSDB vs. Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (22 to 20 - WE WON!!!) - Game 4: HSDB vs. Wyoming North (19 to 31) - Game 5: HSDB vs. South Hills High School (lost) - Game 6: HSDB vs. Tuscon Area Public Schools (8 to 47) - Game 7: HSDB vs. Marlton School for the Deaf (7 to 10 - w/ FOUR Overtimes!) |

| The 2009 HCDB Academic Bowl Team did a phenomenal job in competing in the Western Regional Academic Bowl competition at the California School for the Deaf in Fremont. Under the coaching of Dewayne Berg and Daphne Werner, the team won two of their seven matches and for the third year, HCDB won a Sportsmanship Award! |
