Unfortunately,
it appears that our Video Library link, to Michigan State University's
Comm Lab, is no longer as good as it was. We are still linked to
it, but no longer have access to the individual signs as we used to.
Now, users must find the word on an alphabetical list and click
on it to be able to view the signs.
This section is designed to help families communicate better with their deaf members, and with deaf people in general. Each week we will add ten "basic communication" signs to help increase your vocabulary. These links take you streaming video at the University of Michigan's Communication ASL library. Just click on any term, and a page will come up showing a list that contains the term. Scroll through the list and find the term. Click on it and you will see the sign for that term. As the signs are on an external site, you will need to use your browser's "back" button to get back to this page! |
