Employment at HSDB

Teachers

HSDB anticipates teacher vacancies for the school year 2010-2011.  If you are a certified Teacher of the Deaf and are looking for a Deaf Education teaching position, especially in the warm tropical islands of Hawaii, please consider working with us! Our school is an ASL/English immersion program with a strong emphasis on bilingual literacy (for more information about HSDB, please see "About HSDB").

For general information about teaching in Hawaii, go to the "Teaching in Hawaii" website at: http://doe.k12.hi.us/personnel/TeachingInHawaii/.  You can access a teaching application at the Hawaii DOE website at http://www.doe.k12.hi.us/index.php.  There is a link to "Jobs" then a link to "Teaching in Hawaii" and finally a link to "Applying".  You can either apply on-line or send in a hard copy of the
application.

After you submit your application, please send a brief email to our Principal, Sydney Dickerson <Sydney_Dickerson@notes.k12.hi.us> to let her know of your interest in teaching in Hawaii and your submission of an
application. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us (see the HSDB Contacts page).

Mahalo for considering our keiki (children) at HSDB!
